I don't have time to be sick!

So the Florida orange juice commercial is right....the secret to staying healthy is being away from other people. I hadn't been sick all semester...it was amazing! I go home for a week for Thanksgiving break and come back and have been sick since the beginning of the week. I missed work, I missed class, I am gonna miss another class tonight (but I turned in my assignments ahead of time)...it's just no fun. I have no energy to do anything and my brain feels fuzzy. I ran out of orange juice so I had to trudge to the store yesterday all wrapped up like a pale mummy and I bought a vaporizer and some Vicks. That stuff is amazing! I felt about 60% better after 12 hours of that. Then I stubbornly went to work for a little more than half my shift b/c I didn't want to have to make up the time. I managed to stay until 1, but I am completely exhausted now. All I can do is sit here. It's sad and frustrating b/c they are so many things I need to be doing. But I guess I will practice the self-care they keep talking about in classes and take it easy, take care of myself and get extra rest without feeling guilty about it.


I'm gonna go work on that. Oh and my Christmas present this year will be given to me on December 27. That's when they put on the rest of my braces...after much protest on their part, I might add. So hopefully I will have the beautiful smile I always wanted by this time next year. Then I can finish my graduate program and eventually have a wedding. Just need a groom. ;) Oh wait, I found him...he's part of the Longest Couple in Existence Super Couple of Infinite Love. If 10 years comes and goes I am seriously going to look into the world record to see if it would be feasible to outdo the record. Only problem is, I think that would require my entire life and I would like legitimate children who have 2 legally intertwined parents.
