Can't I just press the "Hold" button on my life until May?

Well, I had a very enjoyable winter break. Spent lots of QT with the boyfriend, caught up with old classmates and had lunch with a friend. Now it's back to the good ol' school routine...except this semester is going to be incredibly stressful and very time consuming. I've only had 3 of the 4 classes but so far here is what I have due:

-4 insight papers
-2 critiques
-a group proposal
-an individual case study
-out of class meetings with a partner
-a group project that consists of a presentation and paper and out of class meetings
-a 5-8 page reaction paper on a book
-a 10-12 page research paper on a topic pertinent to school counseling


The 4th class is my practicum so I have a feeling it will be the most time consuming of all. Plus I have my 20 hr/wk assistantship. I don't know how I am going to get it all done. So I apologize to all of my friends in advance if I am not as present as usual or if you get e-cards and short e-mails instead of my usual in-depth ones. This blog may be the best way for me to keep in touch with everyone.

I know I can do it because I want to be in this profession so much. It's just going to be a challenge to fit everything into my days. I also feel like I am going to be absent from the life I love...which is an eerie feeling. It's a good thing I don't have cable b/c I would be paying for something I wouldn't have time to use!
